Ramon Allones Robusto C
Overview: Ramon Allones Specially Selected
The Ramon Allones Specially Selected are a Robusto vitola, measuring 124mm in length with a 50 ring gauge. They were released in 2011, and are available in boxes of 25 or cabinets of 50.
The aroma that floats off this cigar is a wonderful blend of sweet tobacco and touches of cedar, chocolate and leather, with the cold draw offering the same sweet notes. In the first third a medium bodied smoke billowed out, with a wonderful flavour blend of spice, nuts and chocolate.
The draw on these cigars are excellent, the second third offers deeper flavours of the same notes, with some additional notes of earth and chocolate to round out the bouquet. The final third offers some spice and the flavours reach a medium full strength, the finish is long and smooth.
You can expect to enjoy this cigar for around one hour. There is major aging potential here, 1-2 years would do wonders for the profile.

Regios de Punch EL 2017
If you were given a mission to find a good Cuban cigar and given the option to pick amongst every cigar Habanos S.A. makes in any given year, I would start with the high-priced cigars that wear either Gran Reserva or Reserva bands.
In the event—as is typically the case at cigar shops around the world—that there are no Gran Reservas or Reservas, my next advice would be to pick Edición Limitadas, and for the same reason: all of these series have one notable thing in common: aged tobacco.
Serie C No 3 EL 2012
They are characterized by vitolas-sizes- that do not appear in the usual range of the brand portfolio, and they are distinguished by a careful selection of their leaves – wrapper, filler and binder- which have been aged for a period of at least 2 years. The wrapper dressing these Habanos comes from the top leaves of the Tapado – shade grown- black Cuban tobacco plant, and is relevant characteristic that identifies these special productions. This wrapper is usually darker than the wrappers of regular range sizes of the brand.
Serie D No 4
What is it about the Partagás Serie D No. 4 that’s made it the most popular Cuban cigar in the world? Is it the eye-catching red band? Is it the cigar’s reputation for being more full bodied than most other Cubans? Whatever the reason, this perennial crowd pleaser maintained high quality this year, rising above other Cuban cigars for its ability to consistently deliver a flavorful smoking experience, despite its high production numbers.
The Partagás Alphabet Series started in the 1930s with many different sizes, but by the 1970s, the Serie D No. 4 was the only remaining remnant of the line. Then, in 2005, Habanos revisited the series, eventually adding four sizes. The red bands haven’t really changed much over the years, and yet the cigars, with their simple, streamlined lettering still seem fresh and modern. Part of that has to do with the introduction of the tubos, which are sold in handy three-packs. This red-on-black presentation gives the brand a sleek appearance and was a smart marketing decision by Habanos. Smart packaging only goes so far. The Serie D No. 4 lives up to appearances with its explosion of flavor from the first puff, showing a palate of leather, minerals and wood, sweeter notes of orange and vanilla, as well as a lasting hazelnut finish.
Serie D No 5
Serie D No 6
Introducing a new size to the House of Partagas: The Serie D No.6.
The No.6 is the newest addition to the Partagas “D” series and joins the classic robusto, Partagas Serie D No.4 and the Partagas Serie D No.5, ( launched in 2011.)All boast a 50 ring gauge, but the No.6 is the shortest in length at 3½” (90mm). Thus making this a stout cigar ideal for brief smoking breaks, whilst retaining all the rich aromas associated with the Partagas brand.
The cigars are presented in a unique SBN box and carry 20 cigars.
When you buy a cigar from The Cigar Club you are buying into over 50 years of trading experience. Everything we dispatch is checked for quality. All our Havana cigars bear the EMS (English Market Selection) Stamp of excellence. This guarantees both provenance and quality.
Supremos -EL 2019
This medium to full bodied cigar provides just over an hours worth of the classic ‘tangy’ Montecristo taste, with the decadently dark wrapper providing a slightly sweet top note to the blend, and the extra ageing of all the leaves ensuring a rounded, smooth smoke.
Packaging: Single Cigar
Strength: Medium +
Flavour: Medium to Full
Length: 5 1/4"
Ring Gauge: 55
All Montecristo’s are a perfect balance of blends created exclusively with selected filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco region, which is the main source of tobacco for Habanos, and it's the only region in Cuba that grows all types of leaf: wrappers, filler and binders.
TRINIDAD – MEDIA LUNA (BOX OF 12)
TRINIDAD – VIGIA
Trinidad coloniales
The Trinidad Coloniales is a Colonial or Petit Corona format, measuring 132mm in length with a 44 ring gauge. They are available in semi boite nature boxes of 25 cigars.
The Coloniales is beautifully constructed, hand rolled and filled with the aromatic long filler tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba, then finished with a beautiful pigtailed cap.
The aromas off the foot are distinctly sweet with a touch of cedar. Once lit the draw is sharp from the jump, offering thick creamy smoke filled with rich flavours of leather, vanilla and cedar.
In the second third new flavours of cashew, chocolate and coffee develop, rounding out the profile and picking up to a medium strength. In the final section a dash of spice appears and the finish is long and slightly floral.
This cigar is an excellent choice for intermediate to experienced smokers due to the unique blend of flavours and complexity. You can expect to enjoy these smokes for just under 60 minutes.
We recommend pairing this cigar with a full flavoured drink such as espresso in the afternoon or a barrel aged scotch for the evening.
